We got enough replies of people interested in the football block, so we went ahead and created it. Registration for the blocks started today (registration works on stages depending on the number of credits you are taking), so I would recommend that you do so as soon as possible. All you need to do is this:

• Go to the online registration website (click here), register your GTID# in our block and DO NOT PAY ONLINE:
  • Block name: BBUGS
  • Password: 153
• Pay $36 (cash or checks to Rolando Gittens) to Rolo or Katie, or you can also give your money to Alyceson Andrews, in the IBB main offices. Payments are due before Tuesday, August 25^th.
• Join BBUGS for our tailgating events (more info to come) and watch the Yellow Jackets play great football with friends!

Remember that the $36 secures you a ticket (they will just swipe your buzzcard) for every game, including GATech vs UGA.  To find more information about the registration process, click here. If you have any questions or comments, contact Rolo or Katie, and we hope you can be part of our block!

BBUGS Social Committee Chairs

Hi guys,

As you all know, every new school year brings with it a new FOOTBALL SEASON, and this one is about to start!  You are invited to join BBUGS in the TOTAL FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE for all Tech home games this year, but we need to hear from you ASAP.

There have been some changes to the way they handle student tickets (http://ramblinwreck.cstv.com/tickets/student-tickets.html), but the main points are:

• To get a block, each person has to pay $36, which guarantees a ticket for every game, including the GATech vs UGA game.
• Single game tickets are still free but are given on a first-come, first-served basis and BBUGS cannot pick it up for you.
• Guest seating is located in a different section than block-ticket seating.

To create the BBUGS block we need to have enough people.  ARE YOU INTERESTED? We have until the 20^th to create the block, but please let us know as soon as possible as these tickets are limited.

We’ll still be tailgating before the games, and more info will come soon!  I hope you can participate and have fun with us,

BBUGS Social Committee Chairs

Looking for a great way to spend a Friday night on your Summer semester?  Don’t forget to RSVP for the Martinis & IMAX event (May 22nd) organized by BBUGS.  To get this great price we need your RSVP by this Friday, May 15th.  Don’t think twice and come have an awesome time with your friends and fellow gradstudents.  The info is as follows (also found on our website):

What: Martinis and I-Max @ Fernbank Museum
When: Friday, May 22nd ; 7-10 PM
Price: $10 (Includes one martini and one IMAX film)

BBUGS will supplement the first 25 people that RSVP to this email.  After the 25 have signed up you can still RSVP and come, but you will have to pay the normal group price ($21 for martini ($9 – classy I know) and IMAX ($12)).

You can attend either of two films:
Under the Sea – 7PM
Galapagos – 8PM
