Due to another location being more awesome, tailgating this Saturday has been moved to the IC (instructional center) lawn. We will also start earlier–around 8:30ish in the AM. Grilling, beer, and cornhole will still be there.

To help us figure out how much food and beer to get, it would be helpful if you could reply to this message and let us know if you are coming and want us to provide you with food/beer. Even if you are a maybe, a one-word response will help us plan. RSVP is not necessary to show up, nor is attendance of the football game–we just want a general idea.

Where is the IC lawn, you ask? The Instructional Center is the building across the street from the gym. The lawn where we will be is the big green space behind that.

A mere week after the rafting trip, the BBUGS social committee is at it again–we will be tailgating this coming Saturday before the GT vs. North Carolina football game. It’s an early o’clock game (noon!?), so that means we will be tailgating even earlier. Come join us any time after 9:30am in the quad next to IBB and BME for food, games, fun, and maybe even a morning beer if that’s your thing (does the sun even come up by 9:30am on a Saturday?). You don’t need to be going to the football game to join us for the tailgate.

Why: The hamburgers aren’t going to eat themselves

Cost: $5 for food and drinks, free to come play tailgating games and watch the sun come up

It’s football season, and of course that can only mean one thing: it’s
time for grilling on the quad. This Thursday, BBUGS will be hosting a
tailgate party before the Clemson game. Anyone is welcome to come, even
if you are not planning on going to the game. We will be grilling
burgers (both beef and veggie) and dogs, and of course we will have
tailgating game staples: ladder golf, washers, and cornhole. Come by
after class, after lab, or whenever you can make it and mingle with your
fellow grad students.

Where: The quad next to IBB, by the Whitaker building
Cost: $5/person (covers food and beverages. Good times are complimentary)
