Dr. Dennis Choi is an award-winning neuroscientist renowned for his groundbreaking research on brain and spinal cord injury. A former president of the Society for Neuroscience, Dr. Choi served as the head of neurology at Washington University, as neurologist-in-chief of Barnes Jewish Hospital, and as director of the McDonnell Center for Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology. He was also the Executive Vice-President for Neuroscience at Merck Research Labs from 2001 to 2006. Dr. Choi will speak about the declining performance of our drug development enterprise and suggest directional approaches to address this issue.
